Milo Yiannopoulos made breaking news today with his announcement to resign as senior editor at Breibart.

The controversial right wing blogger broke the news after causing yet another controversy. The past 96 hours have been quite the whirlwind. It all stemmed from a video surfacing of Yiannopoulos condoning pedophilia. This isn’t the first time that the former Breibart editor has found himself in hot water. However, this time both sides were outraged and criticized the blogger.

The video in question reportedly shows Yiannopoulos condoning sexual relationships with young boys. The blogger spoke out about his relationship with his former employer and the role it has played in his career.

“Breitbart News has stood by me when others caved,” Yiannopoulos said in a statement released Tuesday. “They have allowed me to carry conservative and libertarian ideas to communities that would otherwise never have heard them. They have been a significant factor in my success. I’m grateful for that freedom and for the friendships I forged there.”

After his sudden announcement, his scheduled appearance at an upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference was cancelled. It has also been reported that his new book deal was also called off.

According to the Washington Post, Reagan Battalion, a conservative site, tweeted a series of videos that showed Yiannopoulos’ past comments. However, the right wing blogger claims that the videos were “selectively edited” to appear that he condoned child abuse and that the site was simply launching a “co-ordinated effort to discredit” him.
